14-12-2016 I bought a Mangrove's jack Kegerator and moved from bottles to kegs. Cleaning bottles and the time involved with filling bottles reached to a point of change.
I enjoyed the kegerator and over time I bought some additional kegs.
I got "frusttrated that I couldn't easily fit 3 corny kegs. Having more than 3 kegs I sometimes
ended up with not having the beer on tap that I felt like drinking that day. I needed to sort that. Then I saw a Black Friday sale for a freezer and
decided, this is the moment to build a Keezer. I aimed for a 6 tap Keezer, but when designing it, I managed to create a keezer with 8 taps ;)
The whole build took me a week, mainly due to paint drying and I had to wait a few more weeks for the last shank. As in New Zealand we only had 7 140mm shank in stock, one
of the little disavantages of living on an island at the bottom of the world ;)
